Wish us luck
I'm sitting here writing a blog with Emme squirming in my lap, even though I should be working on a paper for UT. That's right, I decided since life was going along so **easily** I should pick up my Written Comprehensive Exams from UT and start them. Basically, Comps are a final exam of our five core course and I have 30 days to write 30 pages. The topic is basically a three-year strategic plan for a school that is struggling. I picked up the paper last Wed. and I already have 8 pages written. I must say, they are pretty much 8 pages of cr@p, but hopefully I'll start putting together some good things.
In the mean time, we have a great babysitter helping me out today with Addison, so I can write my paper... not this blog. Wish us luck that I'm able to finish on time, so Andy doesn't have to play single father at night for too long! There is no option to turn it in late, and I can't fail. The only way I can start my dissertation is to get a passing grade on this paper and the criteria is tough! I'm hoping to be finished by August 17th so I won't have to work on my birthday.
Off to do research with a baby over my shoulder now...typing one handed is not easy :-)

Good luck with the 30 pager. Sounds like there is never a dull moment on Raley Rd.
