Addison's first day of Kinder

Image
Addison had a wonderful first day of kindergarten. Daddy and I were able to drive her to school and get her situated. Here she is leaving the house... feeling super special that she was able to pick out her dress for the day! Daddy and Addison outside the "kinder neighborhood" entrance. Mommy and Addison outside her Mrs. Barr's classroom. Daddy, thinking he was being cute, by taking a picture of me watching Addison walk right in to the classroom like she owned the place! Already on her way within the first five minutes. She came home from the day and said, "Momma, this was the best. day. ever." I was so happy to hear this. She kept saying how excited she was about school starting, but her anxiety was definitely creeping up over the weekend (she bites her nails like her daddy!) and I knew she was nervous about how big the school was and how many people would be around (over 700). But with the first week done, she's a pro, knows how to get aroun...

Addison's last day of Pre-K

Image
Yesterday was Addisons's last day of Pre-K at Primrose. She has been there for the past three years and has learned SO much. She can add and subtract up to 20, knows how to read over 60 words, is truly creative at arts and crafts. They have nurtured her, cared for her and helped her develop in countless ways. And though she is excited for kindergarten to start on Monday, she will deeply miss her teacher, Miss Sanders (and her great dane, Moose)!
