Doctor's Appt. and Denny's

Emme went back to the doctor yesterday for her two week check up. She weighed 8.17 at birth, left the hospital at 7.11 and weighed in yesterday at 8.3. She has gained back all of her weight...yipppeeee. She is also measuring 21 inches. I'm thinking that the original measurement of 19 inches was off a bit. Two inches in two weeks seems like a lot!
The doctor (we LOVE him) pronounced her absolutely beautiful and just thriving. Our only concern, and here's a little TMI (too much information, for those that don't know blogger lingo :0) if you don't want to read anymore) is that the little girl just doesn't poop! I never thought I would complain about not changing diapers, but a baby that doesn't go to the bathroom but every three or four days seems to be reason for concern in my book. Andy and the doctor aren't nearly as worried as I am since she isn't bothered one bit by it. She doesn't fuss, cry or seem upset and is gernerally just an easy-breezy baby. I've decided to take the "poop factor" off of my worry plate for now, but I reserve the right to blog about it later.
Today (Thursday), Addison is off to "school" so Andy, Emme and I dropped her off and splurged on a very large breakfast at Denny's before heading home to mow the yard and clean up the new addition upstairs. Yum!!! Between feeding Emme, keeping up with Addison and trying to reorganize the upstairs, I get pretty hungry. I think it's the first time I've ever finished an ENTIRE super grand slam breakfast all by myself. Yep, not just a regular grand slam, but a SUPER grand slam with french toast, coffee and everything. Andy and I decided that we wouldn't tell Addison about it, she would just be mad that she didn't get pancakes :-)
