Update

No baby should have to give blood for tests. Poor little Emme spent 2.5 hours with four different people, in a clinic and then a hospital, and got "stuck" five different times before they were able to get the sample they needed for her tests. They just couldn't get her little veins to cooperate. It's a good thing neither Andy nor I are squeamish. As a positive, we know that both of her tear ducts work :-)

On a brighter note, Andy gave Emme her first bottle last night. We only gave her about an ounce and at first she was verrrrrrry upset to not be getting her food in its usual form. Andy was so patient and she eventually figured it out. Once she did, it was G-O-N-E.

The pain of those 2.5 hours was felt in the Pacific Northwest. You can count on our thinking positive thoughts all weekend for Little Miss, Andy & Kerry.
