Dell
I had the nicest lunch out with Emerson and Andy on Tuesday. If you remember, I was complaining Tuesday morning of being tired. After I decided to put my contacts in and wash my face, I told myself that I wasn't going to allow myself to be lazy, so I gave Andy a call and invited him to lunch. He was actually free (VERY unusual on short notice) so I packed Emme up in one of her cute outfits Grandma bought and we went to meet Andy's coworkers at Dell. Shame on me, but he has been in that office for quite some time now, and I've been meaning to visit, but this was the first time I've met a lot of his current colleagues. It was so great to finally put names and faces together. I'm always so surprised at how some people are exactly how I pictured them and some are so completely opposite. It makes me wonder how alike or opposite they think I am when people finally meet me?!?!?! Emme was quite the hit around the office... and of course she slept... but it was really great to get out and about and meet new people.
After meeting everyone, we headed over to Chili's and Andy and I had wonderful conversations about everything under the sun. With just the two of us... of course Emme was still sleeping... it was really nice to enjoy lunch and talk about adult things like careers, stocks, politics, and life. The best part was that Emme didn't wake up until after I ordered dessert! Yay for us :-)
By the way, it seems like babies are everywhere. Here is a picture out our front window of a new baby deer just hanging out. They are so sweet and Addison stops whatever she is doing if she sees one to go to the window to watch them. We have a bunch of babies this year, with a lot more twins and triplets than usual. Hope you like this one.
