The bestest Nana in the whole, wide, world... at least that's what the girls think!!!

Is this plausible? Emme just said our stuffed Pluto dog bit her finger - she was in tears. Later, she said she needed more cherries in her fruit salad b/c Zeus (our real dog) ate the one that she had. Where does she get this at only two years old??? How do you explain the importance of telling the truth to someone who thinks stuffed animals are "real" and make "poopies" in their diapers that she is constantly cleaning???

Our pool project is coming along nicely. We've put in river rock and grass and they are plastering with the quartzscape finish today. Addison and Emme have loved watching the progress nearly as much as Daddy. The best part of all of it is that they can help Daddy out a bunch!

Happy birthday to my little girl!!! I don't think I can call her my little baby any more. Addison has grown in to quite a special girl. She has a special kind of patience and sweetness with her sister and other children. She has the best giggle in the world. Above all, she has a giving heart, as evidenced by her desire to earn money from "chores" so she can give it all away to other kids who, "won't have Thanksgiving." My dearest Addison, I love forever and for always!!! Nana made a special birthday cake in the shape of a castle for Addison. Papa - playing around with the girls Addison and Emme opening up a present from Nana and Papa The present came complete with helmet.
