New patio, new opportunities, and a great visit!

well, today I got to have my first cup of morning coffee while relaxing outside on our new balcony deck. Addison joined me, and loves to run back and forth from side to side, giggling the whole time. It's been a very busy week, starting with a wonderful visit from "Gama" and "Gampa". We had a great 2nd birthday party for miss Addison last Saturday. On Sunday, Dad and I started construction on the balcony deck, which actually went up pretty quickly and came out excellent! A huge thanks to Grandma and Grandpa for all the help/support during this super busy week. On Monday, I resigned from my job, and have accepted a new position with another company at a local site. I'm very excited about the position, which should grow into an excellent opportunity and will leverage many aspects of my previous experience. Of course, immediately upon my resignation, my company released me, deleted my accounts and cancelled my phone, so I'm kind of disconnected until I start at my new company. I've spent the week (and will spend next week) finishing up some projects so that I can get things caught up prior to starting the new job. I hope to get a round of golf or two in next week as well.
