Attack of the Monster Emme
Sometimes we call Addison our little monster. We mean it in the most endearing way, you know, sort of how Cookie Monster and Elmo are monsters? But for the past few days, our sweet, kind, sensitive, and easy-going Emme has turned into a monster. She has been eating more than I can giver her and my freezer isn't nearly as stocked with Emme food as it used to be. Andy and I keep thinking that she is so upset because she is hungry. Goodness knows she weighs almost 15 pounds at 4 1/2 months old. We're starting to think we might give her some mashed bananas for Thanksgiving dinner. We were going to wait until six months and Christmas dinner, but she's giving all the signs that she is ready now. Addison had her first solids at 5 months as well. We'll keep you posted. Until then, just know that this is the face we've been seeing a lot!!!

On a funny note, Addison only wants to watch Elmo Potty... over and over again she'll ask for Elmo Potty!!! You see, Daddy thought it would be a great idea to buy the Elmo Potty DVD in hopes that she would want to go to the bathroom like Elmo (Daddy is pretty much done with diapers). Unfortunately, it's aaallllllll Addison wants to watch, but she has no desire to actually go to the potty herself.
