Weekend Fun
We had a great Fun-Filled Fall Weekend!!! Saturday was spent at a local park with Addison's friend from school, Mia. Addison had a blast swinging with her friend and eating cupcakes. She had two firsts this weekend as well. She had her first go with a big inflatable jumparoo and also had her first capri sun juice drink. She thought both were F-A-N-T-A-S-T-I-C.
Emme had her first brush in with hay and scarecrows. You can tell by her face that she wasn't nearly as impressed!
After playing at the park, we went to dinner with some friends at their house. Unfortunately, Addison started to not feel well so we had to leave a little early.
Sunday we had Addison's Fall Festival at her school. There were a bunch of little booths like the ring toss and putt-putt. We helped out with the "Bug Dig" table where you have to search through the "dirt" ~ black beans ~ to find little plastic bugs. Even through her sniffles, Addison managed to win a cake in the Cake Walk (think of a non-competitive musical chairs).
As every Dad knows, the thing that helps cure the common cold is a piece of blueberry pie. Addison LOVES her blue-babies and asks for them every morning with her pancakes. Her eyes got huge when she realized that she could have them in a cake.
