Addison shared a new term with me describing her shorts (pictured) when I got her dressed this morning...."too tight". :) note that these are size 3T. Guess another pair is off to storage. Addison and I also had a successful adventure on Friday. I took the day off of work to get my driver's license renewed (had to do it in person because they needed me to show proof of social security). I figured that since I was going, I'd go ahead and try to get Addison a photo ID. So we trekked down to the bank to get our documents out of the safe deposit box (which Addison noted as "heavy" when the attendant removed it - I can assure you it's not heavy, no gold bullion or anything exciting like that). so, we got our stuff and headed off. Addison was great through the whole thing, and may be the youngest person to have her own ID card!! It would seem from the dialogue with the DPS employee that she had never typed in a "1" for age. Also, their height measurement starts at 48" (not the 33" that we put Addy down for). Anyhow, with one exception made for documentation, she's good to go, and it will arrive in the mail shortly! Success! and it only took 2.5 hours. :( -AM

   Well, we finally made it to Arkansas after a very, very, very, very long night. There was on-and-off driving, sleeping (well, it was really a lot of little naps) on the couch, the table seat, my real bed for about two hours, then back to the table seat. But we made it!    On Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, we played with Billy and EJ, built forts, and spent a lot of time on the lake. But today, Billy and EJ were back in school and my sisters and I had nothing to do. So Uncle Gannon took us to Crystal Bridges. We saw some really cool things, went on some trails, and got lost for about half an hour. But it was worth it!     We are leaving on Thursday, so we have one more day to have fun with our cousins and then it's off to the next state and the next adventure. ~ Emme

DISNEY (part 2)

Day Three started out EARLY!  We had 7:30 reservations at Chef Mickey, so we left Nana and Papa to sleep in and we headed out for our next adventure.  Tons. Of. Fun. AGAIN!!  The girls loved dancing around and thought it was super cool that we let them have as much syrup and whipped cream on their pancakes and hot cocoa as they wanted! Here are the girls dancing around after breakfast. Donald was a definite favorite! But Goofy really got Emme's attention.  They were fast friends!! After breakfast, we decided to relax around the pool for a bit before heading to Hollywood Studios.  Addison got up the nerve to go down the super long water slide.  It was really cool to watch her do that!  Emme wasn't quite as brave, but loved spending time in the pool! After the pool, we all headed back to our rooms and the girls took a long nap.  They had been going so fast, they finally needed time to crash!!
