Mornings
I shouldn't smile and laugh, but our girls are just soooooooo cute in the morning. Emme is still sleeping like a pro from 9-6 most nights. But when she wakes up from sleeping, she just makes the cutest little sounds and facial expressions. The first thing she does is look around to see where she is with a quizzical look on her face. Then, inevitably, she curls up her lips and stretches her arms big above her head. After a good stretch she either finds her thumb and quiets down or makes a huge pouty-lipped face and begins to scream for food. It really is just too cute.
Addison is also fun in the morning. She's been waking up around 7:30 most mornings, but usually talks to her Elmo and froggy until 8:00. We can hear her over the monitor telling them "mine" or "no" or "uh oh" or "it-dowwww" (translation: sit down). I finally go to get her up when she starts calling for Mommy. Usually, the dog comes with me and Addison can hear him coming up the stairs, so she gets really quiet. When I open the door, Addison is usually peeking over her bed and exclaims "Hi Dog-Dog" in the loudest, most cheerful voice you have ever heard. Life is just too fun with the girls!
