It's Party Time...

Wohoooooooooooooo! I've printed out my Comps and I'm ready to turn it in tomorrow. 30 pages of work with 37 references to books and articles about educational reform. If anyone out there is interested in seeing how I would go about elementary school restructuring and redesign, email me and I'll send you a copy of my proposal. :-)

So now it's time to party and celebrate. Not that celebration includes going downtown to 6th street and visiting Pete's Piano Bar to sing raunchy tunes anymore (ahhhh that was fun once upon a time, wasn't it Aunt Micki and Uncle Eddie???), but I may beg Andy to take me out to La Margarita's (great Tex-Mex) for my first post-pregnancy Mexican Martini. If you've never been to Texas and weren't motivated enough to come just to see our family's smiling faces, you DEFINITELY need to come for the Mexican Martinis!!!

   Well, we finally made it to Arkansas after a very, very, very, very long night. There was on-and-off driving, sleeping (well, it was really a lot of little naps) on the couch, the table seat, my real bed for about two hours, then back to the table seat. But we made it!    On Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, we played with Billy and EJ, built forts, and spent a lot of time on the lake. But today, Billy and EJ were back in school and my sisters and I had nothing to do. So Uncle Gannon took us to Crystal Bridges. We saw some really cool things, went on some trails, and got lost for about half an hour. But it was worth it!     We are leaving on Thursday, so we have one more day to have fun with our cousins and then it's off to the next state and the next adventure. ~ Emme

DISNEY (part 2)

Day Three started out EARLY!  We had 7:30 reservations at Chef Mickey, so we left Nana and Papa to sleep in and we headed out for our next adventure.  Tons. Of. Fun. AGAIN!!  The girls loved dancing around and thought it was super cool that we let them have as much syrup and whipped cream on their pancakes and hot cocoa as they wanted! Here are the girls dancing around after breakfast. Donald was a definite favorite! But Goofy really got Emme's attention.  They were fast friends!! After breakfast, we decided to relax around the pool for a bit before heading to Hollywood Studios.  Addison got up the nerve to go down the super long water slide.  It was really cool to watch her do that!  Emme wasn't quite as brave, but loved spending time in the pool! After the pool, we all headed back to our rooms and the girls took a long nap.  They had been going so fast, they finally needed time to crash!!
