Cheese, Toast and Dippers

Cheese: I caught Emerson with a little half smile.


Toast: Addison discovered toast with Jelly. Thanks to Cassaundra and Ellis for the homemade grape jelly!


Dippers: Addison keeps doing the craziest things. To begin with, she loves to dip her food in things. I haven't been brave enough to give her ketchup very often because of the mess, but ranch is a favorite in our house. Applesauce is also a favorite. So on to the cute/crazy things: when Addison was served her meal today of applesauce and grilled cheese (still on a modified BRAT diet due to her being sick), she promptly removed the spoon from the applesauce, picked up a piece of grilled cheese and dipped it in. She then proceeded to look at me like she had just discovered sliced bread! Too cute :-)

so my mom sent me some other pics from when they were visiting. . i had to laugh at addison playing with "my little ponies" - sadly i still have mine!! Isnt it crazy that she is playing with the toys we grew up with?

I really like the way she eats that cheese s. and applesause. Reminds me of me sometimes. Messy eater are lots of fun Ha!!

   Well, we finally made it to Arkansas after a very, very, very, very long night. There was on-and-off driving, sleeping (well, it was really a lot of little naps) on the couch, the table seat, my real bed for about two hours, then back to the table seat. But we made it!    On Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, we played with Billy and EJ, built forts, and spent a lot of time on the lake. But today, Billy and EJ were back in school and my sisters and I had nothing to do. So Uncle Gannon took us to Crystal Bridges. We saw some really cool things, went on some trails, and got lost for about half an hour. But it was worth it!     We are leaving on Thursday, so we have one more day to have fun with our cousins and then it's off to the next state and the next adventure. ~ Emme

DISNEY (part 2)

Day Three started out EARLY!  We had 7:30 reservations at Chef Mickey, so we left Nana and Papa to sleep in and we headed out for our next adventure.  Tons. Of. Fun. AGAIN!!  The girls loved dancing around and thought it was super cool that we let them have as much syrup and whipped cream on their pancakes and hot cocoa as they wanted! Here are the girls dancing around after breakfast. Donald was a definite favorite! But Goofy really got Emme's attention.  They were fast friends!! After breakfast, we decided to relax around the pool for a bit before heading to Hollywood Studios.  Addison got up the nerve to go down the super long water slide.  It was really cool to watch her do that!  Emme wasn't quite as brave, but loved spending time in the pool! After the pool, we all headed back to our rooms and the girls took a long nap.  They had been going so fast, they finally needed time to crash!!
