DISNEY (part 5)

On our last full day at DW, we headed to Animal Kingdom. I have to say, they had some awesome attractions, including a safari, and Addison's FAVORITE roller coaster - Everest.  But I do wish we would have spent some time going back to Epcot as well!


Here are the girls playing on the carriages and with Papa waiting for the bus to AK.



We got to AK early and Emme was ready for breakfast.  This pastry was as big as her ears!!!


Both girls loved watching this gentleman from Africa carve animals out of wood.  I would have loved one of his sculptures!


Here is Addison - super proud after riding on Everest for the first time.  She thought it was SO GREAT that she went on a huge coaster that went backwards!



Here is Emme watching the elephants.  The safari we went on was really neat.  I don't think we've seen that many animals in a long time.



At the end of the day, Brennan was ready to go straight to sleep... in Nana's bed!!

   Well, we finally made it to Arkansas after a very, very, very, very long night. There was on-and-off driving, sleeping (well, it was really a lot of little naps) on the couch, the table seat, my real bed for about two hours, then back to the table seat. But we made it!    On Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, we played with Billy and EJ, built forts, and spent a lot of time on the lake. But today, Billy and EJ were back in school and my sisters and I had nothing to do. So Uncle Gannon took us to Crystal Bridges. We saw some really cool things, went on some trails, and got lost for about half an hour. But it was worth it!     We are leaving on Thursday, so we have one more day to have fun with our cousins and then it's off to the next state and the next adventure. ~ Emme

DISNEY (part 2)

Day Three started out EARLY!  We had 7:30 reservations at Chef Mickey, so we left Nana and Papa to sleep in and we headed out for our next adventure.  Tons. Of. Fun. AGAIN!!  The girls loved dancing around and thought it was super cool that we let them have as much syrup and whipped cream on their pancakes and hot cocoa as they wanted! Here are the girls dancing around after breakfast. Donald was a definite favorite! But Goofy really got Emme's attention.  They were fast friends!! After breakfast, we decided to relax around the pool for a bit before heading to Hollywood Studios.  Addison got up the nerve to go down the super long water slide.  It was really cool to watch her do that!  Emme wasn't quite as brave, but loved spending time in the pool! After the pool, we all headed back to our rooms and the girls took a long nap.  They had been going so fast, they finally needed time to crash!!
