DISNEY (part 4)

On Saturday, we were back at the Magic Kingdom.  Before we started out, Andy and I thought it would be fun to have the girls try trading pins.  Here they are trading their first pins in FrontierLand.  It was actually a really fun part of the trip from here out.  The girls were super interested in talking with people about pins from here out.

The first ride of the day was the Log Ride.  Emme was still traumatized from the Tower of Terror, so she decided to ride very few coasters.  She stayed behind with Nana and Bren while we went on Splash Mountain.  Addison, of course, wanted to ride with Papa each time!

Andy got stuck with me!  You can't see it, but he's only half smiling because I made him wear a big Birthday Button and he was annoyed ;-) that everyone kept telling him Happy Birthday!  Ha!!

After riding a few other things and walking around, Emme thought it might be okay to ride a "mini-coaster" named Big Thunder Mountain.  Papa promised her it was one of his favorites, so she decided to try it.

This is Emme before the ride...

And this is her after the ride...

She LOVED it!!!

Up next was lunch with Winnie the Pooh and his Friends.  Brennan decided to wake up for lunch and get in on some of the character action.

Something very sad... and then very happy... happened after lunch.  As we were leaving lunch, we realized that Addison's pin necklace had been stolen.  We left it in the stroller by mistake during lunch and sure enough, someone had taken it by the time we finished up.  After that, we headed to TomorrowLand, but she was pretty sad about it.  While she and Andy went in to another ride, I went to talk with someone at another store.  I explained what happened, and they happily replaced the necklace and all of Addison's pins.  She was SO happy to get another chance to trade pins!!!

We headed back to our hotel for dinner and the evening (after stopping off and letting the girls pick out some treats).  After dinner, the girls stayed at Camp Mickey for the evening while Nana and Papa did a little shopping back at MK and Andy and I headed over to TomorrowLand to ride Space Mountain and the People Mover.  Both are still such classics!  The girls loved their babysitters and had a blast!
