DISNEY (part 3)

After spending the morning at the resort, we headed off to Hollywood Studios.  It was a fun afternoon, but most of the rides were definitely for older kids.

Before the day even started, Addison ran in to Jake (from Jake and the Neverland Pirates).  He is her FAVE!!  She was so happy for the rest of the day.



After Jake, we decided to go to Tower of Terror.  Mistake.  Big, Big, Mistake!!!!  Oh my gosh, I was terrified.  And So, So Sorry I took my 4 year old on it with me!!!  Emme just kept saying, "that was awful, Momma.  Really, really bad, Momma!"  I totally agreed with her.

After that, we tried to keep it going with fun stuff and they did their first 3D ride on Star Wars.  The girls got a kick out of it, even if they didn't quite understand what Star Wars was!


After that, we all went on a few more fun rides and enjoyed the park.  At the end of the evening, Andy and I got to go on the Rockin Roller Coaster.  And HOT DOG!  That was the BEST roller coaster we've ever been on!!!  It was totally 5 stars from both of us!!!


When we headed back, Emme and Nana stopped for a quick picture in the lobby.  And then Nana and Papa gave the girls some presents.  They got new pajamas, Mickey Ears, and lots of fun stuff!

   Well, we finally made it to Arkansas after a very, very, very, very long night. There was on-and-off driving, sleeping (well, it was really a lot of little naps) on the couch, the table seat, my real bed for about two hours, then back to the table seat. But we made it!    On Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, we played with Billy and EJ, built forts, and spent a lot of time on the lake. But today, Billy and EJ were back in school and my sisters and I had nothing to do. So Uncle Gannon took us to Crystal Bridges. We saw some really cool things, went on some trails, and got lost for about half an hour. But it was worth it!     We are leaving on Thursday, so we have one more day to have fun with our cousins and then it's off to the next state and the next adventure. ~ Emme

DISNEY (part 2)

Day Three started out EARLY!  We had 7:30 reservations at Chef Mickey, so we left Nana and Papa to sleep in and we headed out for our next adventure.  Tons. Of. Fun. AGAIN!!  The girls loved dancing around and thought it was super cool that we let them have as much syrup and whipped cream on their pancakes and hot cocoa as they wanted! Here are the girls dancing around after breakfast. Donald was a definite favorite! But Goofy really got Emme's attention.  They were fast friends!! After breakfast, we decided to relax around the pool for a bit before heading to Hollywood Studios.  Addison got up the nerve to go down the super long water slide.  It was really cool to watch her do that!  Emme wasn't quite as brave, but loved spending time in the pool! After the pool, we all headed back to our rooms and the girls took a long nap.  They had been going so fast, they finally needed time to crash!!
