Chemo Club 2009

Gosh! It's been way too long since we've updated our blog. We promise to post more about things that are going on soon! But for the important stuff... we're celebrating Chemo Club 2009! Mom is doing great and is already through her second round of chemo. We took pictures today of all of us celebrating!

We'd love to have you celebrate in the Chemo Club with us. It's easy! I have bunches of shirts that will be mailed out across the country for you to put on and take a crazy picture. Send me the picture and I will post on this blog for Mom to enjoy - and also make her a "I Killed Cancer" scrapbook (or name it something just as offensive) including pictures of as many friends and family as possible who are supporting her. If you'd like a t-shirt, just let me know (email me) and I will send it out. I will probably include the next address for you to send it to as well to share the shirts with as many people to take pictures as possible. Should be fun! ;-) As fun as cancer can be I guess!!!

   Well, we finally made it to Arkansas after a very, very, very, very long night. There was on-and-off driving, sleeping (well, it was really a lot of little naps) on the couch, the table seat, my real bed for about two hours, then back to the table seat. But we made it!    On Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, we played with Billy and EJ, built forts, and spent a lot of time on the lake. But today, Billy and EJ were back in school and my sisters and I had nothing to do. So Uncle Gannon took us to Crystal Bridges. We saw some really cool things, went on some trails, and got lost for about half an hour. But it was worth it!     We are leaving on Thursday, so we have one more day to have fun with our cousins and then it's off to the next state and the next adventure. ~ Emme

DISNEY (part 2)

Day Three started out EARLY!  We had 7:30 reservations at Chef Mickey, so we left Nana and Papa to sleep in and we headed out for our next adventure.  Tons. Of. Fun. AGAIN!!  The girls loved dancing around and thought it was super cool that we let them have as much syrup and whipped cream on their pancakes and hot cocoa as they wanted! Here are the girls dancing around after breakfast. Donald was a definite favorite! But Goofy really got Emme's attention.  They were fast friends!! After breakfast, we decided to relax around the pool for a bit before heading to Hollywood Studios.  Addison got up the nerve to go down the super long water slide.  It was really cool to watch her do that!  Emme wasn't quite as brave, but loved spending time in the pool! After the pool, we all headed back to our rooms and the girls took a long nap.  They had been going so fast, they finally needed time to crash!!
