Lima Beans

Totally true... every bit of it.

Addison (sitting at the table with Emme and me for dinner): We need to say our prayers.

Mommy (in mid-bite as we are all half finished): Okay

Addison (fingers folded): You have to put your food down Mommy. Put your food down Emme.

Emme (nawing on a corn dog *** don't judge me, it's been a long week already***): NO!

Addison: Emme, put your food down, please!

Emme (with a smile): NO!

Mommy (putting food down): It's okay Addison. I put my food down. Emme doesn't have to.

Addison (fingers folded and eyes closed): Dear God, thank you for the world so sweet, thank you for the food we eat, thank you for the birds that sing, thank you God for everything. Amen!

While Addison has her eyes closed, Emme steals Addison's food and continues to eat her corn dog. When Addison finishes her prayer Emme signs to Addison and asks her for "more" - basically asked her to say the prayer again. Addison obliged and Emme stole even more food off her plate!!!

The best part of all of it... she was stealing the lima beans. The girl can't get enough of them!

   Well, we finally made it to Arkansas after a very, very, very, very long night. There was on-and-off driving, sleeping (well, it was really a lot of little naps) on the couch, the table seat, my real bed for about two hours, then back to the table seat. But we made it!    On Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, we played with Billy and EJ, built forts, and spent a lot of time on the lake. But today, Billy and EJ were back in school and my sisters and I had nothing to do. So Uncle Gannon took us to Crystal Bridges. We saw some really cool things, went on some trails, and got lost for about half an hour. But it was worth it!     We are leaving on Thursday, so we have one more day to have fun with our cousins and then it's off to the next state and the next adventure. ~ Emme

DISNEY (part 2)

Day Three started out EARLY!  We had 7:30 reservations at Chef Mickey, so we left Nana and Papa to sleep in and we headed out for our next adventure.  Tons. Of. Fun. AGAIN!!  The girls loved dancing around and thought it was super cool that we let them have as much syrup and whipped cream on their pancakes and hot cocoa as they wanted! Here are the girls dancing around after breakfast. Donald was a definite favorite! But Goofy really got Emme's attention.  They were fast friends!! After breakfast, we decided to relax around the pool for a bit before heading to Hollywood Studios.  Addison got up the nerve to go down the super long water slide.  It was really cool to watch her do that!  Emme wasn't quite as brave, but loved spending time in the pool! After the pool, we all headed back to our rooms and the girls took a long nap.  They had been going so fast, they finally needed time to crash!!
