1st Dance Class

Today we had our first dance class and Addison loved it. It's a small class of four girls that we know and the teacher was amazing. They do both pre-ballet and tap during the one hour class so the girls were able to learn first and second position as well as how to tap and shuffle their feet properly. Emme came along to watch and did a great job exploring the dance studio on her own. The only downside was that Addison would get upset when she saw me through the little looking windows and would want me to come into the room with her. So while she did fine for the first twenty minutes when she had her back to me, as soon as she turned around, there were a few tears. I ended up having to play with Emers in the back play area while one of my friends took pictures for me and brought me updates about how she was doing. Here are a few of those pictures and videos. I hope Addison has as much fun in dance class as I did when I was little. Loved the whole pink outfit!

   Well, we finally made it to Arkansas after a very, very, very, very long night. There was on-and-off driving, sleeping (well, it was really a lot of little naps) on the couch, the table seat, my real bed for about two hours, then back to the table seat. But we made it!    On Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, we played with Billy and EJ, built forts, and spent a lot of time on the lake. But today, Billy and EJ were back in school and my sisters and I had nothing to do. So Uncle Gannon took us to Crystal Bridges. We saw some really cool things, went on some trails, and got lost for about half an hour. But it was worth it!     We are leaving on Thursday, so we have one more day to have fun with our cousins and then it's off to the next state and the next adventure. ~ Emme

DISNEY (part 2)

Day Three started out EARLY!  We had 7:30 reservations at Chef Mickey, so we left Nana and Papa to sleep in and we headed out for our next adventure.  Tons. Of. Fun. AGAIN!!  The girls loved dancing around and thought it was super cool that we let them have as much syrup and whipped cream on their pancakes and hot cocoa as they wanted! Here are the girls dancing around after breakfast. Donald was a definite favorite! But Goofy really got Emme's attention.  They were fast friends!! After breakfast, we decided to relax around the pool for a bit before heading to Hollywood Studios.  Addison got up the nerve to go down the super long water slide.  It was really cool to watch her do that!  Emme wasn't quite as brave, but loved spending time in the pool! After the pool, we all headed back to our rooms and the girls took a long nap.  They had been going so fast, they finally needed time to crash!!
