Walmart Sucks...
Okay... so i've never been a fan. But come on, Walmart (they're listening, right?!?!), help a Momma out. It was bad enough that you were accused of discriminating against women and goodness knows you were wrong to leave the lead-tainted bibs on the shelves, but this is the last straw.
Why on earth can't the largest supermonster store of them all provide their patrons with shopping carts that hold two children? Even worse, why did they want to charge me ONE DOLLAR to rent a cart that would hold both of my children? Are you kidding?!?!? Obviously I haven't been to Walmart since Emme was born, so you can see how unloyal of a customer I am, but whatever. It was enough of a deal-breaker for me that I had to talk to a manager. I should have turned around and drove to Target, but I'm not the brightest in the world. The manager? Not very helpful. Polite. But not helpful. I actually asked him if he thought his main clientele didn't really have more than one child. I think I lost him at "clientele" but I'm not sure.
Okay... I'm done with my rant... maybe ;-)
p.s. Yep... full disclosure time... I broke a cardinal rule of mommyhood. I let Addison sit in the big part of the cart. This was only after I made her walk around the entire store (plus she didn't take a nap and was exhausted... but that rationalizing just makes me feel better... I digress). She L-O-V-E-D it, and was very agreeable when i made her sit the entire time. Hey... it is Texas... anyone over the age of 36 months can sit in the back of a truck as long as their back is against the cab... kidding...kidding ;-) But I blame Walmart nonetheless.
p.p.s. What is wrong with the world when my word document wants to automatically correct me everytime I spell the word Walmart and make it Wal-Mart? Come ON, microsoft... Et tu?!?! ;-)
