Then and Now

Wow! I'm so excited to be spending this Christmas week with Andy and our two girls (okay... and the dog, too. But don't tell him I said so, I'm still not talking to him). I've been sitting here looking through some pictures of Addison from last year and it is amazing how much she has changed, yet is still so much the same. Last Christmas she still wasn't walking and only said a handful of words. This Christmas when we go for walks, she doesn't ride in the stroller anymore because she can keep up with us and I'm sure all Andy wants for Christmas is for her to not talk SO much. Last Christmas Emme wasn't named (of course that took until 3 days after she was born, but... whatever), we didn't know she was a she, and all I wanted for Christmas was to not spend it in front of the commode because I was so sick from the pregnancy.

I can't wait to post new pictures from Christmas Eve and Christmas Morn, but until then, I hope this brings a smile to your face... and also helps you realize why we haven't gone to get Santa pictures this year.

   Well, we finally made it to Arkansas after a very, very, very, very long night. There was on-and-off driving, sleeping (well, it was really a lot of little naps) on the couch, the table seat, my real bed for about two hours, then back to the table seat. But we made it!    On Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, we played with Billy and EJ, built forts, and spent a lot of time on the lake. But today, Billy and EJ were back in school and my sisters and I had nothing to do. So Uncle Gannon took us to Crystal Bridges. We saw some really cool things, went on some trails, and got lost for about half an hour. But it was worth it!     We are leaving on Thursday, so we have one more day to have fun with our cousins and then it's off to the next state and the next adventure. ~ Emme

DISNEY (part 2)

Day Three started out EARLY!  We had 7:30 reservations at Chef Mickey, so we left Nana and Papa to sleep in and we headed out for our next adventure.  Tons. Of. Fun. AGAIN!!  The girls loved dancing around and thought it was super cool that we let them have as much syrup and whipped cream on their pancakes and hot cocoa as they wanted! Here are the girls dancing around after breakfast. Donald was a definite favorite! But Goofy really got Emme's attention.  They were fast friends!! After breakfast, we decided to relax around the pool for a bit before heading to Hollywood Studios.  Addison got up the nerve to go down the super long water slide.  It was really cool to watch her do that!  Emme wasn't quite as brave, but loved spending time in the pool! After the pool, we all headed back to our rooms and the girls took a long nap.  They had been going so fast, they finally needed time to crash!!
