Oh my gosh... how can anyone not think these two are adorable?!?!?! For as tough and "high spirited" as they are, they continue to be tons of fun. When I see these faces, I realize just how much I can handle Emme only wanting to wear a CERTAIN type of diaper (the one with the pink dog on it that is only one of every seven in the package) or the fact that Addison only wants to ever eat round noodles and waffles (at the same meal). Today was dress as your favorite fairy tale character or super hero at school... and as we all know, I'm not about the whole "princess" thing, so I asked if they wanted to be a bunny or mouse from one of their books. Well, as it turns out, Addison's teacher was going to be the white rabbit from Alice in Wonderland and Addison wanted to be a bunny as well. Thus, the "Super Bunny" was born. I think they had fun!!! We've had a really busy day! Between the parade, banana splits and fireworks, I decided to upload a bunch of pictures. You can find them here. If you don't have the time, below are some of my favorites!

Emme turned 2 this week and had lots of celebrations. We don't have her actual party scheduled for another two weeks, but she had a chance to celebrate at her school. Her teachers even let Addison come visit for cookie cake, songs and games... they are sooooo good to them! Emme's birthday breakfast... We took the girls to the local parade this morning. They loved the fire trucks, man on stilts, horses, old-fashioned cars, and ALLLLL of the candy that everyone threw at them. The weather actually wasn't too hot, we brought our chairs and extra picnic "stuff" and had a blast. We're hoping to keep the girls up late enough for fireworks tonight, but we're just not quite sure it's going to work. Tomorrow we are off to try kayaking with the girls. Check back soon for updates! I'm totally lobbying for a trip to Disneyworld... the poor girl is almost four and doesn't know her Minnie from her Mickey! C'mon my peeps, leave a comment and tell Daddy we need a trip to the "happiest place on earth"! ... and please don't reference the post below where Emme completely knows who Nemo is. She learns the craziest things at school ;-)
