I'm totally lobbying for a trip to Disneyworld... the poor girl is almost four and doesn't know her Minnie from her Mickey! C'mon my peeps, leave a comment and tell Daddy we need a trip to the "happiest place on earth"! ... and please don't reference the post below where Emme completely knows who Nemo is. She learns the craziest things at school ;-)

So what happens if my soon-to-be 2 year old gets potty trained before my 3 1/2 year old? Is that bad karma for me and years of therapy for them? Emme used the potty (correctly and successfully... complete with wiping, flushing and hi-5's) not once, not twice, but three times this evening. I honestly hope it is just a phase because I don't think I can handle potty training two at once.

In case you didn't know it yet, Emme is a bit of a wild child. She wanted her daddy to keep throwing her higher and higher in the pool and never showed fear at the beach.

We just got back from a wonderful vacation weekend to Port Aransas. We left early Friday and came back late Sunday, but it was the perfect amount of time to get away with the girls. Since our last trip was filled with "owies" and sickness we were hopeful that this one would be filled with fun. It was! The girls were absolutely amazing for the car trip down. We had lots of reinforcements (full disclosure: Nana and Papa came with) such as finger puppets, magna-doodles, and songs to sing. We even brough Hi-5 with us on the computer, but only succumbed to playing it once on the five hour trip! We got in to town late in the afternoon on Friday, but immediately changed into bathing suits and went to the pool. After we wore ourselves out, we went out for a yummy fish dinner and headed back.
