Addison Meets Her Sister

Image
Addison had a chance to meet her little sister today. We had her come by this morning and this evening. The first thing she did when she saw her was walk up to her, point and say, "Baby ~ My Baby!" It was love at first sight for the both of them. Kerry

Baby Girl 2.0 - Still no name - had a great night last night. We are all still doing well and I thought I would take the time to post some pictures. We hope you enjoy them. Here is my last picture being pregnant before we left for the hospital. The rest are all of our little girl within an hour of being born.

Our Newest Baby Girl!!!

Our little girl’s birth was absolutely wonderful. I woke up on Friday, June 29, 2007, at 6:00 am and thought that I was going to have a baby by the end of the day. Andy had a big day at work, so I didn’t tell him that I was having some contractions. They were easy to work through and by 8:00 am, Addison and I were out the door for my 8:30 doctor’s appointment. At the appointment, I was already dialated to a 2 / 80% effaced and she told me that I probably wouldn’t make it through the weekend without a baby. I thought to myself, I don’t think I’ll make it through the day, but we’ll see. Addison and I drove home and stopped at Sonic drivethru for a big cup of ice and some breakfast. So, as many of you know, we have been doing some construction lately via the addition of a study to the upstairs of our house. My mom and Dad graciously came down to Texas to help get the project started and we're actually quite far along on the project. I am crossing my fingers that it will be finished before the new addtion to the family arrives. Needless to say, now that my Dad has returned to Indiana, I had to recruit a new helper. She's not as productive or insightful as Dad, but I think she's cuter (sorry, Dad). Here's an action shot of her helping out. ...and when we're done, she brings you a (case of) beer. (Don't worry, that's actually and empty box from the cardboard recycling bin). Addison has also been my shotgun passenger (in the back seat, of course), driving around all over in Grandpa's pickup truck to get materials and drop stuff off. She loves riding along in the truck....not sure what to read from that, but for now, ...

Welcome!

“ Greetings everyone, and welcome to our site. As with m ost b logs, this is intended for your entertainment, enlightenment, and general communication around the on goings of our family here in Texas and the adventures and excitement (or lack thereof) that we endure here in Central Texas. As you can see, I have titled this the The Moll's at Sweet Sky Farm. The background here is that when we purchased the property where we live, we were moving up from a suburban s ubdivision to what is known as a “ rural residential ” estate in a subdivision known as Sweet Farms . In the spirit of preservation of family legacy, Kerry and I chose to name our property by combining the name of the property in Mississippi where my Mom grew up , Sky Farm, with the name of our subdivision. The result: Sweet Sky Farm. Needless to say, I hope that you find the post s here en joyable, and encourage you all to reach out to us to motivate continued u sage of this forum...
