Mother's Day 2012

We had such a wonderful Mother's Day this year.  The best part was reading what Addison and Emme wrote about me at their schools.  Here is Addison's:

My mom is 36 years old.
She likes to have a nap.
The best thing she cooks is cookies!
Her favorite food is cereal.
Her favorite thing to do to relax is read.
We like to play together.
She is really good at changing my baby's diaper.
As you can see, my mom is special because she lets me stay up late.


Here is Emme's:


My mom is 29 years old.
My mom weighs 130 pounds.
My mom’s favorite color is purple.
My mom’s favorite food is ice cream.
My mom always says, “Don’t chew on your hair!”
My mom cooks the best pasta (of course).
My mom’s job is to work at her house.
My mom laughs when I tell her funny jokes!
My mom & I like to play together.
My mom really loves ME!!
I LOVE my mom because she does so much stuff for me!!

   Well, we finally made it to Arkansas after a very, very, very, very long night. There was on-and-off driving, sleeping (well, it was really a lot of little naps) on the couch, the table seat, my real bed for about two hours, then back to the table seat. But we made it!    On Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, we played with Billy and EJ, built forts, and spent a lot of time on the lake. But today, Billy and EJ were back in school and my sisters and I had nothing to do. So Uncle Gannon took us to Crystal Bridges. We saw some really cool things, went on some trails, and got lost for about half an hour. But it was worth it!     We are leaving on Thursday, so we have one more day to have fun with our cousins and then it's off to the next state and the next adventure. ~ Emme

DISNEY (part 2)

Day Three started out EARLY!  We had 7:30 reservations at Chef Mickey, so we left Nana and Papa to sleep in and we headed out for our next adventure.  Tons. Of. Fun. AGAIN!!  The girls loved dancing around and thought it was super cool that we let them have as much syrup and whipped cream on their pancakes and hot cocoa as they wanted! Here are the girls dancing around after breakfast. Donald was a definite favorite! But Goofy really got Emme's attention.  They were fast friends!! After breakfast, we decided to relax around the pool for a bit before heading to Hollywood Studios.  Addison got up the nerve to go down the super long water slide.  It was really cool to watch her do that!  Emme wasn't quite as brave, but loved spending time in the pool! After the pool, we all headed back to our rooms and the girls took a long nap.  They had been going so fast, they finally needed time to crash!!
