Matthew's wedding (part one)

We were SO excited to take our first trip together as a family to Chicago for Matt's wedding this month! Brennan, Nana, Papa and I went to Chicago early to spend extra time with the family, and Andy and The Bigs went a bit later so Addison wouldn't be out of school for too long. Both plane trips were great. Even though Andy had to get up at 3:30 to catch his early flight, the girls were amazing travelers, even chatting the bus driver and TSA security guard.

We stayed the week with Aunt Minnie and Uncle Mickie (ha!) and had tons of fun. The rehearsal dinner was so great. The girls LOVED seeing Aunt Erika, Uncle Matthew and Uncle Todd... but really liked spending time with "the shoe lady" (aka Aunt Vivian who always sends the most beautiful shoes to the girls).

   Well, we finally made it to Arkansas after a very, very, very, very long night. There was on-and-off driving, sleeping (well, it was really a lot of little naps) on the couch, the table seat, my real bed for about two hours, then back to the table seat. But we made it!    On Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, we played with Billy and EJ, built forts, and spent a lot of time on the lake. But today, Billy and EJ were back in school and my sisters and I had nothing to do. So Uncle Gannon took us to Crystal Bridges. We saw some really cool things, went on some trails, and got lost for about half an hour. But it was worth it!     We are leaving on Thursday, so we have one more day to have fun with our cousins and then it's off to the next state and the next adventure. ~ Emme

DISNEY (part 2)

Day Three started out EARLY!  We had 7:30 reservations at Chef Mickey, so we left Nana and Papa to sleep in and we headed out for our next adventure.  Tons. Of. Fun. AGAIN!!  The girls loved dancing around and thought it was super cool that we let them have as much syrup and whipped cream on their pancakes and hot cocoa as they wanted! Here are the girls dancing around after breakfast. Donald was a definite favorite! But Goofy really got Emme's attention.  They were fast friends!! After breakfast, we decided to relax around the pool for a bit before heading to Hollywood Studios.  Addison got up the nerve to go down the super long water slide.  It was really cool to watch her do that!  Emme wasn't quite as brave, but loved spending time in the pool! After the pool, we all headed back to our rooms and the girls took a long nap.  They had been going so fast, they finally needed time to crash!!
