Addison had a wonderful first day of kindergarten. Daddy and I were able to drive her to school and get her situated. Here she is leaving the house... feeling super special that she was able to pick out her dress for the day!

Daddy, thinking he was being cute, by taking a picture of me watching Addison walk right in to the classroom like she owned the place!

Already on her way within the first five minutes.

She came home from the day and said, "Momma, this was the best. day. ever." I was so happy to hear this. She kept saying how excited she was about school starting, but her anxiety was definitely creeping up over the weekend (she bites her nails like her daddy!) and I knew she was nervous about how big the school was and how many people would be around (over 700). But with the first week done, she's a pro, knows how to get around the school, and has already made a number of friends.
