I took Brennan to a friend's house for her baby pictures this week. She did a great job taking pictures of Brennan... even though B wasn't very accommodating. Regardless, we got some GREAT pictures of her. I so wish we had done infant pictures like this of the other two!!

After two weeks, Brennan still wasn't gaining weight. I was a bit worried since she started having trouble eating (had a tight frenulum that was getting in the way). I took her to the ENT who cut her frenulum and the problems have started to clear up (edited to add that it took 10 painful weeks for her to completely figure out how to eat). She may just be destined to be a longer and thinner little baby. We'll see, but either way, those cheeks are pretty cute!!

Yep, we had to give Brennan a bottle already since we're having such a hard time with her eating. She just isn't latching too well, so we're going to use a bottle for a few days. I'm going to take her to the ENT to check out her frenulum (google it!). I think it is interfering with her ability to stay latched on and keeping her from gaining enough weight. We'll see. BUT, it's a great excuse for a photo op! Here it is folks. Just like the bath... there are lots of extra hands to help!!!

Brennan's first bath at home! Needless to say, there were MANY little helpers all around. It was the first time she really cried at home. The only time she fusses is if her diaper is wet (seriously, Brennan... you're costing me a fortune. You pee just a little bit and demand that it gets changed. And you demand in an old man squawk kind of way) or if she's hungry. She's just such a great little baby!!

Brennan came home today! Everything is great... we are just all moving at a bit slower pace than before. Here she is in her kitty cat coming home outfit. ... and here is the last picture I could find of me pregnant. It's from May 13th. I went in to labor at 6:30 am on the 14th and delivered early on the 15th. My actual due date was the 16th. Pretty close, but it would have been so much better if Brennan had come about two weeks early like her older sister, Emme. She would have been smaller! That baby girl was big!!!
